About

Welcome to LifeSong Counseling Centers, where we want to help you turn sorrows into song. Let us tell you a bit about ourselves.

Since 2010 LifeSong has been providing quality and innovative treatment in Arizona and recently has expanded to North Carolina, via telehealth. Licensed in both states, Wendy strives to provide the best evidence based services, incorporating one's faith and spiritual practices to each and every person she serves. In these changing times, Wendy has made the commitment to provide exceptional services via the convenience of your own home. As an attachment and trauma-informed practice, Wendy strives to create an environment where each person can safely identify the impact of life events on themselves and their loved ones. Since trauma can impact us in our mind, body, soul and spirit, this can also lead many to experience a lack of everyday emotional safety. In our culture, it is easy to become isolated and feel as if we are suffering alone. Wendy's hope is to help you recognize your internal and external strengths and build resiliency for the future.

LMFT
As a Licensed Therapist, Wendy believes it's not only important but essential for individuals to have a safe, non-judgemental space to share and work through problems. Wendy has over twenty years of experience working with individuals and couples struggling with destructive relationship patterns, post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, sexual and intimacy disruptions (such as infidelity, sexual addiction, past sexual abuse, etc), trauma and abuse, domestic violence, depression, and grief. One of her therapeutic mottos is that we all need someone who sees us for who we really are and believes in the goodness of that authentic self. As a Christian, she has a specialty of working with individuals raised in the Christian church, recognizing their faith and spiritual practices play a significant role in their healing.
