About
In addition to my professional counseling degrees and experience, I hold a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Saint John’s University. This certificate included specialized courses in prayer, discernment, vocation, Christian theology, and spiritual direction foundations. As a contemplative Christian, I believe God is a living, loving force in all creation. God is present in us and actively involved in every human life. Jesus Christ is an example and the way we gain wholeness, as the one who came to walk among us and lead us to spiritual freedom.
Prayer, in all its forms, helps us listen for God’s “still, small voice” and see and know God’s living presence in others and the world. Listening and responding to others in our relationships is especially important prayer.
I approach Spiritual Companioning as a Sacred Crucible. A crucible shapes molten metal into its final form. Our spiritual companion relationship is a Divine vessel that is a crucible for God’s presence. During our first meeting, we’ll decide what we’ll bring into the crucible for your best life.
I offer a free 15-30 minute consultation over the phone or in person.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
It’s my great joy to journey with others on their walk toward a richer and more peaceful life. I don’t presume to have answers for anyone, but I will gladly listen with you, with respect and compassion, as you seek God’s guidance for your best life.
