About

Dr. Valerie Oji is a Board Certified Psychiatric/Neurologic Pharmacist (BCPP) with 25 years of experience as a Pharmacotherapist helping with medication use, as well as Biblical Framework coaching for mental health and wellness.

She provides medication therapy management consults; she helps individuals to consider their options for routine mental health care as well as complementary and alternative treatments, such as spiritual care, lifestyle changes, herbals, etc.

Dr. Oji offers 1-2 hour private sessions to help individuals talk and work thru finding their own customized solutions and resources for health and wellness.

Through individual and group coaching sessions, individuals can receive assistance with various mental health, neurological, substance use and other chronic health conditions as they grapple with life stressors.

Dr. Val coordinates faith-based Ladies Peer Groups called "Beh Best" remotely through Zoom chat, where teenagers, youths and women can confidentially chat and encourage one another. Common topics of discussion include life events and transitions such as divorce, child custody, financial stressors, job loss, career advancement, childhood or adult trauma.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

I've had a longstanding passion to explore and apply biblical principles to help individuals and families dealing with mental disorders rather than rely solely on medication therapy and/or other common treatment strategies. For many folks their faith traditions are significant to life and health and they welcome ways to incorporate this kind of support and coping. I want folks to have information at their finger tips to access 2nd opinions and make the best therapeutic choices
