Lasting Affection is a warm, safe, and supportive place to heal. I currently offer both Telehealth and in-person therapy so that clients can receive care in the way that feels most comfortable for them. I truly love the work I do as a Marriage and Family Therapist, and after many meaningful years in the non-profit sector, I opened my private practice in 2005 to serve clients more personally and deeply.
Over the past 28 years of providing counseling, I’ve come to understand how often individuals, couples, and families carry unresolved emotional or physical trauma that quietly shapes the way they relate to others. These past experiences may have once helped them survive, but over time they can create patterns that make it harder to build the safe, secure, and connected relationships they long for.
In therapy, I gently help clients uncover the old strategies that no longer support them and guide them toward new, healthier ways of relating. My heart is to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to develop relationships rooted in safety, trust, and lasting affection.
In addition to my clinical practice, I have facilitated workshops and groups, and have served in roles such as Clinical Therapist, Mental Health Project Director, and Clinical Supervisor for interns at CHAA—Community Health for Asian Americans (formerly Asian Pacific Psychological Services).

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I chose to serve as a Christian therapist because my faith is an important part of who I am. Over the years, I’ve also noticed that when clients desire to invite God into their healing process, something truly special happens—there is often a deeper sense of comfort, clarity, and restoration. I am trained to thoughtfully and gently integrate Christian faith into therapy for those who want it, and it continues to move me every time I witness God bringing healing into someone’s life, whether in our sessions or in their everyday moments.
At the same time, you are welcome here exactly as you are. If you prefer not to include faith or religion in your therapy, I will absolutely honor that. My role is to support you without judgment and without imposing my beliefs—your goals, values, and comfort always guide our work together.
