About
Hello, I’m Michelle Stern, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I am a Christian counselor and trauma-focused therapist who works with adults experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and the lasting effects of painful life experiences that impact emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being.
My approach integrates professional clinical training with a Christ-centered foundation. Using evidence-based, trauma-informed therapies such as EMDR and mindfulness, I help clients process unresolved trauma, calm the nervous system, and restore a sense of safety and stability. For those who desire it, faith is thoughtfully woven into the therapeutic process, allowing space for healing, restoration, and renewed hope through both clinical care and spiritual support.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I became a therapist because I believe God placed a clear calling on my life to serve others through clinical mental health care. Through both personal life experience and professional training as a trauma therapist, I have seen how unresolved emotional wounds can affect every area of a person’s life. It is an honor to walk alongside clients as they move beyond painful past experiences and find healing, restoration, and renewed strength. Supporting others as they grow into greater peace, empowerment, and wholeness is a privilege I do not take lightly.
