She enjoys working with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families. She is passionate about serving people, giving them a space to feel heard and valued, and providing outlets for healing. She has experience working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relational problems, codependency, faith/spirituality concerns, low self-esteem, body image issues, and sexual abuse. Kaylin views counseling as an opportunity for clients to process, lament, and find hope. She aligns closely with a person-centered and existential counseling approach while pulling from cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed theories, but since clients have unique needs, Kaylin utilizes evidence-based approaches that best suit the client.
