I received both B.S. and M.S. in Counseling from Clarks Summit University, a Christian university in PA. I've been a believer for 54 years, and a professional counselor for 20. Everything I say and do in counseling is filtered through and grounded in God's Word. I provide counseling for healing from the wounds and shame of your past, no matter what they are. I also do marital, premarital, and relationship counseling. I work with an individual’s problems, as well as with victims of abuse, especially sexual abuse, rape, and trauma. I also work with victims of spiritual abuse, as well as with combat veterans with PTSD. I believe that creating a place of safety is essential for openness and for healing to take place, and focus on this. No matter how deep your wounds or how dark your past may be, I will walk with you and help you find healing. You really can find the light and life that you long for. Let us help you start your healing journey. All of my sessions are by telehealth, either by phone or video. If you wish to meet in person, my associate Mariann Leahy will meet with you in her Palatine office.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I became a Christian Counselor because I found myself doing this naturally, and seeing God blessing my efforts. I believe this is my spiritual gift.
