About

At New Perspective Counseling, we offer expert care for individuals and couples facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Several of our highly trained therapists also offer Christian counseling for those who desire to incorporate their faith into the therapeutic process.

We recognize that faith can be a vital part of healing, growth, and well-being. Our Christian counselors are equipped to walk alongside you, integrating Christian principles and clinical expertise to support your emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being.

Whether you're an overwhelmed people-pleaser, someone struggling with low self-worth, anxiety, or depression, a couple stuck in repetitive conflict, or a trauma survivor carrying unresolved pain, New Perspective counseling is here to help. Our therapists offer compassionate, personalized care rooted in both evidence-based practices and, when requested, Christian values.

Healing might involve learning to set boundaries, rebuilding self-esteem, managing anxiety, or processing past trauma, while drawing strength from your faith. You don’t have to do this alone, and you don’t have to put your needs on hold.

Now is the right time to begin your healing journey.

When you contact New Perspective Counseling, our caring intake team will help match you with a therapist best suited to your unique situation and spiritual preferences. From your first phone call to your final session, we strive to ensure you feel welcomed, supported, and heard.

As a person of Faith, I recognize the impact the Christain Faith has on a person's being. Faith is pivotal in a person's healing process particularly so with trauma, so it is important to have a therapist that is comfortable talking about this. My approach is warm, gentle, and compassionate as well as informative, practical, and witty. I encourage clients to reflect on their ways of relating to the world, by gaining insight into how their thoughts, attitudes, emotions, and behaviors affect others.

I work with adult women, specializing in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, divorce adjustment and other emotional issues. I am trained I am trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) which is an effective treatment for trauma and other emotional issues. While I do integrate traditional talk therapy into my sessions my main approach to treatment is to use EMDR as it is a very effective and impactful treatment with a lot of research su
