About
I'm Lesley Bragg, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Lisa Willmon, LPC, and a graduate of Ottawa University, where I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees in counseling.
As a counselor, I believe healing happens when we bring the whole person into the process - mind, body, and spirit. I provide a compassionate, faith-integrated space for individuals, couples, teens, and children to explore life's challenges through evidence-based therapy grounded in biblical truth.
My approach is both relational and practical. I incorporate modalities like EMDR for trauma recovery, the Gottman Method for couples, play therapy techniques for children, and CBT/DBT for emotional regulation. Whether you're navigating anxiety, marital strain, grief, trauma, or parenting struggles, I meet clients where they are, with grace, wisdom, and tools for lasting change.
I offer in-person sessions in Bastrop, Texas and online sessions throughout the state. If you're seeking a therapist who honors your story and your faith, I would be honored to walk this path with you.
My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice
My Christian faith is the foundation of who I am, and it shapes the way I care for others, with compassion, humility, and a belief in the possibility of renewal. In my counseling practice, I offer clients the option to integrate their faith into the therapeutic process if they choose. While I draw strength and guidance from my relationship with Christ, I respect each clients unique background and beliefs. My goal is to provide a safe, grace-filled place where healing and growth can unfold, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally.
