Pathways Counseling exists for you.
Pathways Counseling is a distinctively Christian counseling practice serving individuals and families globally online. We work with a wide range of personal and relational challenges, with a particular focus on spiritual abuse, spousal abuse, and the complex trauma that can arise when the church becomes a source of harm rather than healing. Whatever you are carrying, our goal is to walk alongside you with both professional competence and genuine Christian compassion — taking Scripture seriously without minimizing your pain.
Because Pathways Counseling serves clients globally, we operate outside the medical model of counseling. This is an intentional decision that allows us to work with individuals across different countries and jurisdictions without the legal barriers that restrict many counseling practices. Our approach is thoroughly Christian and professionally rigorous — grounded in both theology and psychology — and accessible to anyone with an internet connection, regardless of where they live.
Sessions are available at $100 USD each, or $80 USD per session when purchased in sets of five.
Pathways Counseling is led by Dr. Jeremy Van Dyken, who holds a Doctorate of Education in Counseling Psychology, a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology, a Bachelor of Science in Social Work, and a Bachelor of Science in Bible and Theology. Dr. Van Dyken served for ten years as a professor of psychology in Kuwait. In a behind the scenes capacity, he was also involved in human rights advocacy throughout this time as well.
