As a Christian therapist, I have had the opportunity to work with a number of people of different denominations and faiths. My job is not to preach or convert, but to offer the meet the client where they are Christian foundation to those who are desiring to include their faith in their therapeutic process.

As a counselor at Agape Counseling, I work mostly with men on the many issues and challenges faced in today’s culture such as: porn & sexual addiction, other addictions, past abuse, infidelity, fatherhood, sexual identity issues and with marital stressors, career pressures and home balance. I also enjoy working with couples in preparation for marriage or during the challenging periods in which there are communication struggles or deep hurts.

I strive to meet others where they are without judgement and with the willingness to challenge and empower themselves to overcome the struggles of life. I particularly enjoy my work with men, because our culture has a tendency to look down on men, and we have our own unique set of challenges to overcome to be the spouses, sons and fathers that God intended us to be.

Finally, I am Certified in Sexual Addiction (CSAT). I work with men and women who struggle with porn or sexual addictions from a Christian perspective, focusing of the need of God's grace to overcome the behaviors. Also, I work to help the partner of those struggling with addictive behavior as they walk through the emotions and challenges of the discovery and impact.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or interest in scheduling an appointment.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

I look at the opportunity to counsel and provide therapy to others as more than a job but a vocation . It is important to be able to practice using a Christian based philosophy to help others grow and heal. My desire is to get out of the way of the "Wonder-Counsellor" (Isaiah 9) and to be the tool as He heals. In Christian therapy, I am allowed to bring my faith, life and education together.
