Kammie Jo Furman, LAC
Kammie is currently in process of receiving her Licensed Professional Counseling designation. Is a dedicated Mental Health Therapist with over five years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through life’s most challenging moments. With three master’s degrees and a deep commitment to client-centered care, Kammie, brings both academic rigor and heartfelt compassion to her practice.
Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of areas, including substance addiction, mood disorders, anxiety, and comorbid disabilities (the presence of two or more mental health conditions in the same individual at the same time). She also works closely with individuals navigating family issues, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, divorce, stress, and trauma processing. Whether guiding a young person through emotional regulation or helping an adult rebuild after loss, Kammie, approach is rooted in empathy, empowerment, and evidence-based strategies.
At the core of her work is a belief in the client’s ability to heal and grow. She focuses on helping individuals re-develop the skills they need to cope in healthy, sustainable ways—always tailoring treatment to meet each person where they are.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time crafting and diamond painting as creative outlets that help me unwind. I’m also an avid reader and love swimming, both of which keep me balanced and refreshed.
