About

Dr. Judith Rand is founder and CEO of The Family Prosperity Institute. As a licensed psychologist with 30 years of education, training, and experience in the mental health field, Dr. Rand is dedicated to providing counseling, consulting, and educational services that empower clients to creatively plan their own destinies. She provides expert therapy services and innovative psychology knowledge and solutions to individuals, couples, and families. Services are time-efficient and cost-effective. If you are interested in a Biblical approach to counseling, please let Dr. Rand know.

Dr. Rand specializes in counseling psychology, which includes couple, individual, and group therapy formats for addressing personal struggles with depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress; family estrangement; beyond anger management; workplace aggression, including bullying, harassment, and violence; domestic violence, including child, wife, and elder abuse; intimate partner abuse; narcissistic abuse; a history of incest, sexual abuse, or rape; cultural influences on a person's life choices and relationships; gero-psychology and the issues related to aging in a fast-paced society; financial psychology; and the development of human potential, including the development of emotional intelligence.

In the last several years, Dr. Rand began to realize that the practice of psychology was insufficient to meet many of the needs that face our communities in an increasingly political, violent, and unforgiving world. Recidivism rates for problems such as domestic violence, child sexual abuse, and family estrangement have only increased. What is more, the practice of psychology alone has been insufficient in dealing with the evils of the world. This is true because these are community issues and must be addressed at the local community and societal levels. So many people have very little understanding and no insight regarding the evils of the world, such as school mass shootings, human trafficking, use of pornography, and the proliferation of dangerous drugs deliberately produced to harm and kill our children. With these realizations, Dr. Rand sought training in Biblical counseling to provide a higher-order level of understanding for these problems. In 2022, she added this additional component to her practice for those clients who seek it.
