About
I serve adults 18 and over, both individuals and couples. Much of my focus includes building healthy relationships through emotional intelligence, respect and honoring of one another, healthy, communication and boundaries. I also help clients with numerous other expressed concerns such as anxiety, depression and mood instability, grief & loss, life transitions, building healthy self and healthy relationships, and more.
I enjoy seeing clients who embrace the Christian worldview, as do I, as well as those who have different faiths or no spiritual affiliation whatsoever. There is a depth and specialness however in the work with those who want to integrate the Christian faith, as I truly believe this is a core component in more clearly understanding our identity and seeing the meaning and purpose of life and our part in that.
I hold a Masters degree in counseling from George Fox University and graduated in 2003.
I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health and counseling field including private practice, psychiatric inpatient and outpatient facilities, hospital emergency departments and a homeless shelter.
