I've been married 30 years and have 4 adult kids (one that is married). We're active in our church and enjoy camping, time with friends, good food and music.

My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice

My first degree is in Biblical Studies, then went on to the field of counseling. I grew up in a family that was heavily involved in ministry and saw so much need. I feel it's important to integrate the counseling help with a Biblical foundation. We need the spiritual foundation and then can add the practical tools that therapy can provide.
My own depression, anxiety, career transitions and health problems have been difficult. The Lord has sustained my through it all. Without faith, I wouldn't be at this point today.

He works with individuals and couples as they work through mental health issues (like depression and anxiety), figure out relationship difficulties (marriage and parenting), or navigate the common struggles of life (job loss, financial difficulties, health issues, and loss).
With past struggles with depression, anxiety, health problems, loss, financial struggles, career changes, and the struggles of parenting and marriage, he has the personal experience to understand and help support someone going through the thick of the problems.

Brett has been a Pastor and a Therapist for over 25 years. Faith can be integrated into therapy as much as clients desire.

I've been married for 31 years and have 3 adult kids (two who are married). I am active in my church as Teacher in the Men’s Ministry and Leader in the Regeneration Ministry. I enjoy laughing as much as possible, spending time with family, hiking, and studying biblical theology, psychology and philosophy.
