About
My name is Paige Kupferer, LPC. Real Talk Therapy, LLC is my VIRTUAL and IN PERSON private practice created to assist young adults, college students, and adults through the twists and turns of real life. Whether you are dealing with increased anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, chronic illness, or other difficulties, Real Talk Therapy allows you a space to be your real, genuine self. This is a nurturing and compassionate environment where you can begin to process your life challenges. Also, by choosing a virtual therapy practice, you can begin your journey from the comfort of your home, the office, or dorm room. No travel is necessary.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of South Carolina (License#3389). This license is regulated by the State of South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulations Board of Examiners for Counselors, Therapists, and Psycho-Educational Specialties. With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Minor in Sociology from Presbyterian College (1992) and a Master of Art in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northeast Louisiana University (1994), my areas of professional experience include inpatient and outpatient hospitalization work with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
As a Christian and a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe it is so important to focus on my client's faith and Christian beliefs as a part of the therapy journey. This is a compassionate and nurturing environment where you can begin to address your life challenges. We can work together to identify your strengths, your beliefs, new coping skills, and personal goals you wish to work towards in therapy.
