I'm Kimberlee Herman, a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor with more than 22 years of counseling experience, including 12 years as a state-licensed therapist.
I work with adults who want to understand what's underneath the struggle: the wounds, beliefs, relationship patterns, fears, and experiences that may be keeping them stuck.
My approach combines counseling tools with Christian inner healing (also known as prayer counseling) and practical steps you can use outside our sessions.
Depending on your needs, we may work on emotional healing, boundaries, relationships, anxiety, past hurts, unhealthy patterns, or your relationship with God.
My goal is to help you understand what's keeping you stuck, experience healing, and begin moving toward greater emotional freedom and spiritual growth.
Why I Became a Pastoral Therapist
After years of working as a traditional therapist, I felt God leading me toward a different kind of counseling...one where spiritual needs didn't have to stay outside the counseling room.
I eventually transitioned from state-licensed therapy into Christian pastoral counseling so I could more fully integrate faith into the healing process.
Today, I bring more than two decades of counseling experience together with Christian counseling and inner healing, while respecting where each person is in his or her relationship with God.
One of the greatest joys of my work is watching someone recognize a pattern they've lived with for years, be set free from that and experience God in a new way.
