Renewed Hope Counseling Services is a private counseling agency located in Elgin, IL. Tracy Wright is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.
Information about Tracy:
I have a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University (Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) in Deerfield, IL. Additionally, I have a Master’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics from Northern Illinois University.
My goal as a counselor is to create a safe place where people can find healing. Counseling is an integration of Christian values and lifestyle with the current approaches to facilitate insight and life changes that result in resolution of barriers to healthy living. I strive to provide a warm, caring supportive environment based on trust and safety. My prayer commitment is part of the counseling approach for all of my clients.
Problems/issues that I am experienced in counseling:
Mood disorders including depression, anxiety, grief
Life transitions: pre-marital, career changes, school success
Relational issues: marriage, divorce, blended families
Health issues - including but not limited to eating disorders
Trauma, including sexual abuse, emotional abuse, spiritual abuse and physical abuse. Trained to work with veterans and families.
Addictions including eating and sexual addictions
Mood disorders including depression, anxiety, grief
