Amy has been a clinical therapist for 28 years and has served as a clinical manager and director of the Moody Theological Seminary Counseling Center over the past few years. She started her own private practice in 2007 in Oak Park and Chicago working with individuals ages 12 to 75.
Her clinical experience is in working with teenagers, college students, men and women, non-crisis couples, premarital couples, ministry staff, Third Culture Kids. Her expertise with clients include anxiety/panic attacks, depression, eating disorders, anger, self-harm, relationship struggles, church hurt, job loss, sexuality issues, pregnancy, infertility, post-partum depression, menopause and parenting struggles. Amy and her husband, Dr. Kirk Baker, lead premarital courses at a nearby college. For the past 5 years, Amy has enjoyed mentoring and supervising BA psychology interns and masters-level Clinical Mental Health Students.

Kehinde Moodie

Kehinde Holds a BS in Sociology and Education, MA in Special Education, and MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Moody Theological Seminary. She is Married with two adult Children.
She is an ordained pastor who specializes in women’s issues. She also works with families exposed to trauma in the inner city.
Kehinde views each person as a unique individual and provides services accordingly. She believes in partnering with her clients to accomplish their goals. During her time with clients, her hope is for them to be empowered, inspired, and equipped to live a more fulfilled life.

Sarah Brown believes that the counseling process can be a part of the journey toward holistic wellness and is passionate about coming alongside her clients and supporting them through seasons of challenges and growth.
Having a client-centered, emotionally focused, and somatic work approach as her foundation, Sarah welcomes the unique story that each person brings and hopes to collaborate with her clients as they identify goals for healing and success. Sarah is open to all clients but is especially interested in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationships, sexuality, and trauma.

Traumatic experiences are like tangled knots of grief, shame and guilt, silenced needs and emotions, and triggers that can affect present daily living. However, when processed and unraveled, we can develop a life of healing and resilience. My passion is to help adult individuals and couples who have experienced abuse during childhood, PTSD, Complex-PTSD, sexual trauma, grief, relational challenges and life transitions.
As a trauma-informed counselor with more than five years of experience, I incorporate a variety of evidence-based approaches like EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), emotionally focused therapy, Gottman couples therapy, internal family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy and use practical tools.
