Whether you are struggling with a particular issue or just cannot shake the feeling that there should be more to life, Safe Haven Counseling Center can help. We provide a caring environment to help you identify and explore those issues that may be preventing a more rewarding home life, career, or fulfilling relationship. Our goal is to provide you with the insights and the tools you need to enjoy the rewarding life you desire.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

After receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Human Studies I began working at a local women’s shelter. I enjoyed my work. I also enjoyed answering the hotline and helping callers find hope in their despair. This led to me obtaining my Masters's in Professional Counseling. I completed my Masters's at Liberty University. I also obtained my school counseling certification. I knew I wanted to start my practice, Safe Haven Counseling Center, in Pearland. After a few years of private practice, I completed my Ph.D. in Counseling Education and Supervision from Liberty University. Currently, I lead Safe Haven Counseling Center and support my interns in their goals of licensure, while also, teaching at Houston Baptist University. Without Christ in every session, my ability to help someone is not possible. Without Christ, I would not be where I am today.
