About
Hi! Thanks for stopping by!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I earned my bachelors from MTSU in Special Education, and my M.A.Ed in Counseling from Virginia Tech.
I am eager to help you or your teen find your way through your challenging circumstances. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, life transition, grief, loss, or any other challenge. I enjoy working with adults, teenagers and couples in many life stages.
I use a multiple of therapeutic modalities. A few include CBT, DBT, Person Centered Therapy, Expressive Art Therapies, EFT, EFIT. If you aren’t sure what these are, no worries! We can find what works best for you!
My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice
I have been a Christian since I can remember, but it wasn’t until college that my faith became “real” to me. After many years of teaching and asking God for my “next steps” in my profession, God helped me
find my answer in counseling.
Counseling is my calling. I feel it is an honor to have clients allow me into their sad, and sometimes “scary” places to help guide and seek answers and healing. I am passionate about having the opportunity to use faith as a part of your therapeutic process.
We will talk about how much or how little of your faith you are comfortable with discussing in your process. I look forward to working with you!
