Shield-Bearer is a nonprofit licensed counseling agency offering counseling to families, couples, individuals, and groups of all ages. We serve everyone regardless of their financial situation and strive to never turn anyone away. We see every issue from mild anxiety to PTSD and everything in between Our 30+ therapists are trained in a variety of theories and specialties and offer many different techniques to help all in need. Our therapists are passionate about what they do and describe their work at Shield-Bearer as a response to a calling rather than a job. We have a strong desire to help and feel honored as we see our clients grow into their best possible self. All of our therapists are well trained, licensed, and compassionate as are every staff member.

Shield Bearer Counseling Centers exists to fight for the hearts of people struggling with individual, marriage and family problems. Shield Bearer utilizes the rich resources of psychology and therapeutic insight, grounded in the Christian faith, to help people overcome their struggles and live fruitful and joyful lives.
Since our charter in 2005, Shield Bearer has been on the front lines championing healthy relationships, strong marriages, healthy families and strong communities. Shield Bearer promotes individual growth and development, preserves and enriches marriages and strengthens and unites families. We believe that strong communities are built by healthy families and that healthy families have their strongest link in the marriage relationship. Shield Bearer focuses on restoring broken relationships and building on the strengths of existing relationships.
