The division between psychology and faith is a false construct. God created the mind and never intended for us to not explore its functioning and power. You should not have to choose between pastoral counseling or professional counseling if there is a need for both. My practice incorporates the whole human being so that all aspects are functioning in a healthy way, the way God intended.
I have graduate training in Psychology and have been in the field as a licensed psychotherapist for over 13 years. I'm also a licensed minister of the Gospel and have served in that capacity for over 28 years.
It would be an honor for me to assist you or your family with the challenges life sometimes brings. God is ever present in our time of struggle or need, and my calling is to assist my fellow sojourner along the path of triumph and success in Him.
Counseling can be utilized face-to -face or through video conferencing. Please let me know your preference.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I have always been fascinated with the human mind and human behavior. If there is any evidence of God's existence, it's the brain of His most valued creation.
Because I was raised in less than an ideal situation (my mother was young and poor, yet courageously raised three boys on her own), I had to figure out what life and manhood was about without a father to teach me. But when I was introduced to God and His love for me, it unlocked in my heart a passion for people and a desire to help them spiritually and psychologically overcome any obstacle they encounter in their life journey. I merely share with others what I've discovered and have been taught by Him what brings true life success.
