I am a licensed and board-certified Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist and licensed therapist, serving adults and adolescents. I offer Christ-centered and Bible-centered counseling and prayer. I am also trained as a trauma therapist and certified as an advanced practitioner in several therapies, including EMDR and Splankna. I also use Immanuel Prayer (Life Model Works) in many of my sessions to address the roots of trauma, and Brainspotting. I have been working as a therapist in private practice since 1995 and have a total of 28 years in the mental health profession. I do not prescribe medications, but I will support and work with you and your M.D to help you understand the medications you may be considering, as well as natural alternatives if needed. I offer a free half-hour initial session.

My philosophy is to provide truth for lasting change that transforms your life from the inside out, as well as tools to help you practice new behaviors. Change from the inside out requires a different approach than talk therapy alone. I believe in treating the whole person, mind, body, and spirit since each part affects all the others. I do this by addressing cognitive and physical patterns that block you from expressing life, as well as beliefs that are rooted in lies instead of the truth about who you are. Most importantly we will work together to find the approach that best fits your needs and you are most comfortable with.

My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice

I have been a Christian for 43 years. I will carefully listen to your concerns, plan a course of treatment with you and help you set goals for therapy. When you reach those goals, that is when you will know it is time to end therapy. I will guide you with interactive, involved and insightful feedback as you do the work that therapy involves.

Please visit my website for a much more in-depth explanation about my approach and methods at I also have an office in Wheatridge on Thursdays.I work in Broomfield on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
