About

Tim is a personable and relational Licensed Professional Counselor in both PA and NJ. After being in private practice for over 8 years, Tim has a passion for walking with his clients through life's valleys, empowering those under his care to thrive through the struggles that come their way. A graduate of Carin University's Clinical Counseling program, Tim has also served as a Youth Ministry Director at a local church in Mercer County for a number of years.

Tim has a heart for helping, especially adolescents and young adults navigate the tumultuous waters of finding their place in the world and becoming independent. Sometimes these years can be tough, especially in forming solid friendships, forming a personal identity, and adjusting to life in the world as an adult. Tim is here to help provide guidance in these crucial years and feels a calling on his heart to encourage young people in their journey as image-bearers to give glory to their King. Above all, Tim finds great comfort and security in returning to the arms of his Good Shepherd, and is passionate about helping his clients understand the depths of God's grace and love for them.

Tim is a professionally trained clinician, using a Cognitive Behavioral approach in his therapy to address negative thought patterns and work to identify the beliefs of his clients driving symptoms. He uses evidence-based psychotherapies to walk alongside his clients after first discovering their unique strengths and qualities. Tim is deeply informed by the principles of scripture to pursue healing, restoration, and redemption, regardless of whatever issues his clients walk through his office with. Tim commonly works with issues such as Stress Management, Anxiety, Depression, Identity Formation, Relational/Boundary Setting, and Faith Issues, among others.

Married to his wonderful wife, Hannah, Tim has a 2-year-old daughter, Haven Grace, with another sweet girl on the way. Tim loves to snuggle with Haven and read books like Corduroy or Pout Pout Fish with her to pass the time. Tim loves to hit the hardwood in his spare time, playing basketball in open gyms or watching the occasional NBA or NFL game. Tim believes that connection with clients and good rapport and trust between a client and clinician are what drive therapy to be successful.
